The Team
FRANK MANNING
Frank has over twenty years experience in the accountancy profession primarily in business services and corporate finance. He specialises in both taxation and financial consulting work. Frank also has experience in acquisitions and mergers and has been instrumental in providing financial advice and business valuations to organisations involved in the takeover of existing businesses.
Frank has been involved in the preparation of a number of significant business plans, finance proposals and feasibility studies to establish the viability of new businesses and projects including property transactions, business reorganisations and property developments.
PETER HICKSON
Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queensland University in 1982. He subsequently joined Price Waterhouse where he worked in Brisbane and Hong Kong until forming MHM. At Price Waterhouse he specialised in all forms of taxation, including corporate, international and personal tax.
Peter has extensive experience in the restructuring of businesses as well as negotiating commercial transactions. Peter also has assisted his clients with finance applications, acquisitions, due diligences, business planning and business valuations. He has worked predominantly in the areas of manufacturing, tourism, property, services and primary production.
BRADLEY CONN
Bradley has in excess of 13 years experience in the accountancy profession, primarily in the area of business services and taxation. Bradley graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from James Cook University back in 1995 and initially joined Price Waterhouse in Townsville, where he specialized in business compliance, corporate restructuring, and the provision of business accounting and taxation advice to a diverse array of small and medium size businesses. Bradley joined MHM in April 1997.
Bradley has a keen sense of the fundamental elements that make a successful enterprise. Combining this with his proactive and fresh approach to business problem solving Bradley is focused on providing a comprehensive, timely and proactive business and taxation consultancy service to his clients, including strategic business financial management advice, business valuations and the facilitation of client business support meetings.
TRACY HERLIHY

Tracy has over 20 years experience
in the accountancy profession primarily in business services. Her experience includes 6 years in New Zealand with Coopers & Lybrand and most recently 13 years with MHM. Tracy has graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of
South Australia and is also a member of CPA Australia. Tracy has extensive accounting and taxation knowledge, and is our “in-house specialist” when it comes to Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
The Staff
The staff at MHM comprises of a broad mix of experienced and specialist team members, from accomplished managers and senior accountants to highly skilled graduates who have joined the MHM team through the graduate recruitment program. The varied backgrounds and areas of specialisation of all managers, accountants, IT consultants and the admin department are fully utilised, building on the overall experience of the MHM team.
Led by the Principals, the MHM team all share the same client-oriented focus of providing fast and effective solutions to their clients. MHM places a high focus on employee relations. Having recognised the importance of excellent internal communications and ongoing education programs for all staff from its inception, MHM and its clients have been rewarded with a solid and loyal staff base.
